We had an amazing time on the first walk of 2019. Everyone loved meeting Sandra from Gogglebox, and we had a fantastic meal afterwards at the Starting Gate pub – tremendous value for money and fantastic quality home cooked style food – highly recommended.
Congratulations walkers we burned the equivalent of 593 mince pies in calories during November 2018!
We burned 171,400 kcals walking 857 miles as a group.
That’s as far as Nottingham to Madrid, Spain so a huge accomplishment once again.
Be sure to walk with us during December 2018 to help us to beat this target – after all it’s Wanderful Winter!
Everyone had an awesome time on the coach trip and walk to Sheringham, Norfolk with Get Fit Nottingham. The weather was fantastic, and we had a great turnout. We all enjoyed a well deserved fish and chips at the end.
Interestingly, it was the 1940’s weekend at the same time, so that added greatly to the atmosphere in Sheringham.

Congratulations everyone, in August 2018 we had a total of 116 people walking with us, and we walked a combined total of 1,219 miles – that’s the same distance as from Nottingham to Morocco so a huge accomplishment!
