May 2018 is National Walking Month and to celebrate Get Fit Nottingham is providing guided walks throughout the month to suit people of all walking abilities from absolute beginners through to more experienced walkers.
Walking is one of the best exercises for mind, body, and spirit. Not only are there proven health benefits for the body associated with walking, there are also the mental benefits of being outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine, and the social aspect of chatting to fellow walkers.
