Level 2 ⛪ Five Mile Norwood Golf Course & Southwell Trail Fitness Walk ⛪

This is a five mile circular fun social fitness walk that is slightly hilly (with a max gradient of 7%) led by Edward Kendal.

You can expect to burn approx 1000+ calories in 1 hour 45 minutes on this social fitness walk which will take us all around the most beautiful areas of Southwell.

The starting point is easily accessible via NCT bus service 100 from Nottingham city center outside Victoria Centre at 16.40 with a return bus at 2015. Return bus fare is £6.20. There is a car park if arriving by car. If you can give anyone a lift please say so in the comments for this event.

This is a level 2 walk that is suitable for MOST PEOPLE. Expect a reasonably brisk pace with catching up points. You will probably get out of breath at times, but still be able to hold a conversation.

Everyone is welcome. This is also a dog-friendly route so feel free to bring along your four legged friends too (keep in lead near sheep please).

You are welcome to bring friends, or just turn up yourself. We are a very friendly welcoming group with a missing to transform health and fitness in Nottingham so new people are always welcome.

Health and safety info:

* Please do not race ahead of the walk leaders as you could easily go off route and not be able to find us, and we will pause regularly for any slower walkers to catch up and get their breaths back.

* Either trainers or walking footwear is recommended for this mixed surface route.
