🍁🐏Station to Station Walk – Belper to Cromford 7.5 Miles – Level 2🐑🍁
December 30 @ 10:35 am - 3:30 pm
Join me on a scenic linear 7.5 mile walk through the countryside. Starting at Derwent Street Car park just off Bridge Street in Belper, and finishing at Cromford Station where we’ll catch the train back to Belper.
It’s a free carpark! you’ll be pleased to know..🙌
The route includes: Wyver Lane Pool, Alderwasley Hall and Longway bank Going through woodland, villages and fields, along tracks, streams and rivers. A few gentle ascents along the way. This a level 2 walk suitable for anyone used to walking 5 – 10 miles with hilly terrain. We’ll have regular catching up points as always, and have a couple of breaks along the way.
Bring a packed lunch and water to stay hydrated.
Waterproofs and good walking boots are essential. The ground may be muddy and wet causing slippery paths.
Toilets at the River Gardens in Belper just 10 minute walk from the Carpark and at the end of the walk in Cromford.
To save time.. if possible pay a visit to the toilets before we start, there is a carpark.. But no worries, we’ll go there anyway.
Dogs are always welcome..🐾🐾🐾 😊
